Wir hatten uns hier unlängst Gedanken gemacht, wie sich der Charakter der Krieges in der heutigen Zeit verändert hat und welche vielfältigen Möglichkeiten der Machtausübung in der globalisierten Welt vorhanden sind.
Heute wollen wir den ganzen Wahnsinn betrachten, der für Kriege heute noch getrieben wird, einschließlich der Entwicklungen, die gegenwärtig vom Militär-Industrie-Komplex (MIK) der ganzen Welt durchgeführt werden.

14. Das Schuld-Konzept
Ein Bekannter empfahl mir unlängst das Buch von David Graeber “Schulden – die ersten 5000 Jahre”. Die Kurzbeschreibung weckte hochgestellte Erwartungen, allerdings machten die überschwenglichen Lobpreisungen von Vertretern der Hauptströmungsmedien auf dem Schutzumschlag wieder leicht argwöhnisch: kommt hier wirklich eine wahrheitsgetreue Darstellung dieser hochwichtigen Frage? Oder wird erneut mit viel Aufwand (über 500 Seiten!) vor allem Nebel verbreitet?
Auf jeden Fall regte die Lektüre dieses sehr eingängig geschriebenen Buches dazu an, die einer kurzen Buchbesprechung unten nachfolgende (deutlich kürzere) Darlegung zu verfassen – vielen Dank an Herrn Graeber – und an meinen Bekannten.
